University of Louisville Chooses eThority to Increase Transparency in Budgeting University’s Health Affairs and Pediatrics Departments Increase Data Access with eThority Enterprise
Charleston, SC, April 5, 2010 - eThority, the provider of a
user-obvious enterprise performance engine for reporting and
analytics, announced today that the University of Louisville's
Health Sciences Center has selected eThority
Enterprise Edition to increase transparency in its reporting
processes. Citing its desire to leverage innovation in furthering
its institutional mission and eThority's past performance on campus
as reasons for selection, eThority Enterprise is being used for
reporting and analysis on grants, starter funds, and other
mission-critical applications.
University of Louisville (UofL) has a wealth of data stored in
disparate systems across colleges and departments, including an
implementation of PeopleSoft. eThority Enterprise has helped to
consolidate this data and provided secure access so that it can now
be shared by stakeholders, increasing overall awareness of current
versus actual budget reports and financial status. Data that was
previously locked in applications is now easily drawn upon for
analysis.
eThority's Financial Centers eXtension
is being used as well. A supplementary application that is designed
to provide a quick snapshot of an account's financial activity,
Financial Centers aids UofL in creating accurate reports on grant
balances and to-the-minute budget status.
"eThority has helped us spend less time creating reports and more
time doing analysis," said Carla Dearing, Vice President for Health
Affairs/Strategic Initiatives at the University of Louisville. With
eThority's "user-obvious" interface, new users require very little
training and UofL's time savings on report writing and adjustment
are contributing to the project's overall ROI.
"We are proud to support the University of Louisville in its
reporting and data access needs," said eThority CEO, Mike Psenka.
"The university's growing implementation of eThority is a testament
to our commitment to provide our customers with a tangible ROI and
high service standards."
