eThority Enterprise Named 2010 SIIA CODiE Award Finalist Software Recognized as a Finalist for Best Post-Secondary Enterprise Solution Category
CHARLESTON, SC March 1, 2010 - eThority, the provider of a user-obvious
enterprise performance engine for reporting and analytics,
announced today that their flagship product, eThority Enterprise, has been
recognized by the Software & Information Industry Association
(SIIA) as a finalist for a CODiE award in the category "Best Post
Secondary Enterprise Solution."
eThority has, since its inception in 1992, worked closely with higher
education institutions to solve their most pressing reporting
and analytics problems. eThority Enterprise was inspired by clients
at a medical university who were unable to consolidate and access
their data due to the complexity of existing business intelligence
systems. Designed to empower the end-user, eThority Enterprise
leverages the company's background in higher education by
addressing areas critical to the performance of an institution,
such as financial analysis and reporting; student admissions,
enrollment and retention analysis; and institutional performance
benchmarking.
Established in 1986, the CODiE awards serve to showcase the
software and information industry's finest products and services
and to honor excellence in corporate achievement and philanthropic
efforts. The CODiE are the industry's only peer-reviewed awards
program, which provides member companies with a unique opportunity
to earn praise from their competitors.
One hundred eighty-eight products from 136 companies were selected
as finalists from more than 785 nominations submitted by 374
companies. Nominated products underwent an intensive review by
subject matter experts, analysts, journalists, and others with deep
experience in the field. All finalists may now be reviewed on the
CODiE Awards Website at www.siia.net/CODiEs.
The CODiE Award for the Best Post-Secondary Enterprise Solution
awards the best non-instructional business management tool that
supports education enterprise software solutions in data mining,
data analysis, data exchange, processing and reporting, and an
array of other categories.
"This is the twenty‐fifth year we have recognized excellence in
the software, education and information industries through the
CODiE Awards program," noted Ken Wasch, President of SIIA. "In this
economic climate, companies are doing even more to innovate.
eThority has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and quality
that is reflected in their selection as a finalist for the CODiE
Awards. I am pleased and proud to have them listed among the
candidates, and I wish them the best in the final round of
voting."
"We're honored to be nominated alongside some of the brightest
software firms in the industry," said eThority President and CEO,
Mike Psenka. "Over the years we have worked hard to meet and exceed
the expectations of our customers in the Higher Education space
through the design of eThority Enterprise. We are proud to be
recognized for these efforts."
The 2010 CODiE Award Winners in software and education product
categories will be announced on May 25, 2010 at the Palace Hotel in
